'AFFECTED: The Manor' is a
Terrifying Addition from Fallen Planet Studios
If you're an adrenaline
junkie, this is a VR game that you will most
certainly enjoy. Although the playtime is somewhat short, the game delivers in
truly bone-chilling gameplay. As you wander around a weathered, haunted mansion
you will be met with jump scares and unsettling sounds; cautioning you to never
look back.

Gameplay
The game has just two controls, a walk, and a
freelook function; although you may feel afraid to look anywhere but in front
of you (or open your eyes at all for that matter) the look function is the only
way to open doors and navigate your way through the game.
The gameplay itself is
quite simple, you have no options to fight, run, or pick up objects. . .
Lacking in a real storyline or clues, it is more of a terrifying walkthrough
than an actual game experience. Much like a commercial haunted house, you have
no other option than to be a bystander and simply allow the horrid creatures of
the dark to get to you.

Prepare yourself for
jumpscares, and a pure rush of adrenaline while playing this game. My only word
of advice, empty your bladder beforehand and don't forget to remind yourself
that it is just a game.
